Unit 9- Spreadsheet Development

In this unit we were given a scenario to produce a spreadsheet to manage information about the club’s season-ticket holders for a football team. The spreadsheet had three worksheets. The first one was Ticket Holder Details. The second worksheet was summary of information and the third worksheet was Ticket Type Details.

I added lots of skills in my spreadsheet such as VLOOKUP, Countif and conditional formatting. The requirements I set up for ticket holder details are to add the names, address and contact details of each ticket applicant. I also need to add at least three types of ticket such as adult, child and concession. I also need to add requested seating area and allocated seating area. My second worksheet should include summary of the totals of the season-ticket applications and ticket allocations. A series of calculations will be needed, as well as conversion of some data to charts, in order to generate management information. The third worksheet should include the type of ticket, the price of the ticket, the numbers of seats available in each seating area and any relevant further details, e.g. restrictions, age limits.

I am proud of my spreadsheet as I have used lots of skills and tools. I have also added lots of colour to my spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet is easy and clear to understand.
